Why is the charging speed slower than expected? Is it normal for the charger to get hot?
Anker Laptop Charger Pro supports up to 100W; actual power depends on the connected device. Heat under heavy load is normal. It is IEC 62368-certified with a V-0-rated housing and stays within safe limits. For best results, use it around 77°F (25°C).
Which models support the charging limit control feature?
Charging limit control supports MacBook models released in 2021 or later. Windows laptops can use Anker Charging Manager with charging mode control and OTA updates, but not charging limit control. See the app download page for supported models.
Which devices support model identification?
Supports 2021 or later MacBook, iPhone, and iPad models; some Lightning models may not be recognized. Android isn't supported. Windows laptops work with Anker Charging Manager. Changing system info can cause display errors. Care Mode is unaffected.
Why does the battery level shown on the charger or app differ from the battery level on my device? Is it a malfunction?
No. The charging power and battery level shown on the charger or app may differ from your device's readings by about ±1%. This is normal. Use the battery level shown by your device as the reference.
What's the difference between Auto / Smart Mode and Care / Protection Mode, and when should I use each one?
Auto / Smart prioritizes faster charging for urgent or high-power use. Care / Protection slightly reduces charging speed and extends charging time to protect battery health. The charge displays Auto / Care while the app displays Smart / Protection.
